my own health issues? and that's what i did. i mean, if i could go around talking about community control and didn't have self-control, i'm a walking contradiction. and that's what i said to myself, i've got to grab a hold of this. you know, the ironic thing, and i said it earlier, is that when i was obese, over 300 pounds, everybody would -- you know, hey, how are you doing, reverend al? when i lost weight, people started saying to me, are you all right? they should have been asking me if i was all right when i was 300 pounds. >> well, christie says he's got plenty of energy and it doesn't bother him. you believe that? >> i had plenty of energy, too. and it was energy that would easily have caused a problem for me healthwise. i think that i don't care how much energy you have. if you're carrying around an extra 100 pounds or more, you are playing with your health. and that should be taken seriously. >> reverend al sharpton, thanks for joining us tonight on "the ed show." >> thank you. >> you bet. that is "the ed show."
